Wor.Bro. P.Sreekumar was born on 9.5.1945 at
Trivandrum. He is the son of late Dr. P.P.Pillai, Prof. and Head
of the Department of Applied Chemistry, University of Kerala.
He took his Engineering Degree from the College of Engineering,
Trivandrum.
W. Bro. P. Sreekumar joined Freemasonry on 18.12.1982.
He became Master of Lodge Trivandrum No. 168 in 1997. He is an
active member of all the three Craft Lodges in Trivandrum, Lodge
Trivandrum No. 168, Lodge Anandapadmanabha No. 280 and Lodge Travancore
No.329. He is a member of Trivandrum Conclave and Mark Lodge.
He is a Founder member of Quilon Conclave and became its Supreme
Ruler in 1997.
W. Bro. P. Sreekumar, after completing his Engineering
degree, started business. He ventured into distribution, marketing,
manufacturing, consultancy etc. In 1988, he started Kerala's first
100 % Export Oriented Computer Software Company, Integrated Computing
Environments Limited, in the Special Economic Zone, Cochin, with
equity participation from the Govt. He still continues to be its
Chairman and Managing Director. This Company had won the State
Award for the Best Performance in the year 1995.
W. Bro. P..Sreekumar is a regular Tennis player
and an occasional Golfer. He has won several trophies in Tennis.
He has represented Kerala State and University in Tennis. He is
a Life Member in Trivandrum Tennis Club, Trivandrum Golf Club,
Sreemoolam Club, Regional Sports Centre, Cochin, International
Club, Cochin and a Founder Trustee and Member of Cochin Tennis
Trust. He is the Founder Trustee and Hony. Secretary of Col. G.V.Raja
Tennis Trust. He is a former Director of Rotary Club of Trivandrum
South. He was the Hony. Secretary of the Special Economic Zone
Industries Association. He is a member of the Kerala State Sports
council for the last ten years.
W. Bro. P.Sreekumar was the Hony Secretary of
the Trivandrum Tennis Club for about eight years. He later became
its Vice President and President. He was the Vice President and
later, President of the Kerala State Tennis Association, which
position he held for eight years continuesly. He still continues
as the Life time President -Emeritus of that Association. He is
the elected representative of the State Tennis Association in
the Kerala State Sports Council.
He frequently travels overseas on business. He
has visited almost all the countries.
Wor. Bro P.Sreekumar is married to Smt. Devi,
who is a graduate in English Literature. They have one son, Sri.Yogesh,
who has completed his three year Management Course from the famous
London School of Economics, London and is aspiring to get into
Post Graduation.
